Paypal deciding they can take your money if they decide you posted "misinformation"

I agree with Zap, that I have never had a bad PayPal experience. And some good eBay ones. I believe at the moment stuff like this would not affect 99% of users. I am assuming their are a lot of people though, such as myself that are more worried about the slow creep. Give a mouse a cookie type deal.

Reading about the PP story over the weekend we started the process to cancel our account, I was already involved in a transaction with a member here so we tried to use Venmo Instead of PP. We got an error message followed by one that said “we lost connection with your bank. Update your bank details by signing into your bank account.”

When we tried it said that by agreeing to the terms we are authorizing Plaid (a third party Venmo uses) access to our banking account. Hell no, I’m canceling all of them I guess. Between the new irs rules, the firearm coding and now this misinformation bs it’s obvious where this is headed.

The mice have a truckload of cookies and a tanker full of milk....the real question is how long do we keep paying taxes into a screwed up system.

If you want to send $ for a purchase from someone you do not know there are just a few options and they are all controlled by basically the same people. Those folks control lots of things. You really cannot get away from doing business thru them unless you want to limit your ability to do business. I have other opinions but I am not discussing those on here, not going to go there.

You all can send me a good old postal money order

I've read all 3 pages, just where is PP finding gun loving red hat maga wearing, covid denying speech to censor and "fine" American citizens that use their service? Lets face it, that's who they are going after.
