How can PP have any right to penalize people for having an opinion contrary to theirs?

Time to take corrective action! And no - don't link bank accounts to anything.

When something requires a CC or bank account - Like an I-phone, you can get a rechargeable CC for that at Walmart. Put "$100" on it and let r rip.

Yes they can, by setting up an account you agree to their terms of service which you are required to scroll through in order to proceed.

Not for posting misinformation. That has absolutely nothing to do with their operation.

If by misinformation it means false advertisement on the sell of something online and the buyer files a complaint, sure. But posting something misleading or untrue on social media, no way. Paypal is not authorized to assign fines that doesn't carry a statutes with it.

Yup, deleting paypal account just punishes you...if 50% of the accounts were deleted it would have an effect but that ain't gonna happen. The stock will go down for a week and then bounce right back. Without pp you miss out on some good purchases and sales..ymmv.

Pay pal accepts crefit cards. I bought something or other and they accepted my brand name credit card wo needing my PP account.

Otherwise, stop buying used, buy new.

I deleted mine today. I'll have to figure out an alternative. Why hasn't a conservative stepped up and started a similar company or social media competitor?

How's that? I've managed to survive the last 3 years without using my Paypal account. There are plenty of other methods for moving money.

Not sure why you need a PP account? The only time I use it is when I’m too lazy to punch in my CC numbers. Can‘t use it for guns and ammo anyway.

Buying/selling used gear it is my experience that most people use pp.

If you do not need it that is fine with me.....I used it 4x in the last month to purchase good used gear at good prices and to sell a few things...
