Rifle, mount, and scope for a bit over $5k.

Sold as a package, but there is a possibility of rifle only in the future.

Bipod is clever and versatile. Not released yet, but keep an eye out for [mention]Justin Crossley [/mention] review.

As much as it bothers me philosophically to offer such a capable package, that will sell like hotcakes!

Especially when they don’t make you buy the ‘system’, I would buy the rifle alone today if I could. Time will tell if they are worth a sht, but I’m hedging my bet that they are

If convenient ask the Swaro boys when they are gonna come out with a straight thru BTX type of scope.
The angled one cant be used from a vehicle window mount.
Not enough room without hitting your head on the truck cab.

Haha! Yes, I was recently in Nevada on a late hunt and it was cold AF with the wind blowing! None of us wanted to get out of the truck to use the BTX’s!

I would absolutely buy that rifle without the scope and with an option for some other type of scope mounting. I assume it could take a rail (one or two piece), but is there a recoil pin?

What bothers me is not the scope on the package or not, but the fact that they, or any one else, markets a “plug and play” or “turn key” ready to go package for long range hunting, made available to the masses! That doesn’t sit well with me because it makes Bubba think he can iust pony up the cash for one of these whiz bang packages and go kill stuff at 800 yards.

Systems like this should not be bought, but built. Because by building, one becomes more intimately familiar with the process, the requirements, and such. You are forced to learn, and practice and shoot a lot to make the system work. That’s the way it should be. You can’t buy long range proficiency. Yet, package deals like this one sure encourage people to try!

At face value, perhaps, but that’s not how their marketing reads. And I’d argue it’s not just a gun and scope. Far from it! It’s also a yardage turret, load development done for factory ammo, and “Gunwerks complete Ballistics Data Package for 1000 yards out of the box performance.”

Idk I'm perfectly capable of working up a rifle.
But im also time limited.

Why shouldn't I be able to purchase a system that I check zero, drops and do actual practice w the time I have.
Vs several range trips working up a load etc.

I don't just assume people are having these packages drop shipped straight to the outfitter and heading out on a gov tag.

I agree on that point, that’s even worse.

My point, is the same point I’ve made about figuring out Western draw applications…. It’s supposed to be hard and take work!
