I read this entire thread a couple weeks ago. But my memory is crap. I will skim through it again tomorrow, but I have a couple questions for now.

When does Kifaru charge the card for the order?

How strong is the KU Ultralight material, like in the Grab It? I would think something like the Grab It sees some abuse; hold up ok?

I've searched Kifaru site for their meat shelf kit. I can't find it. Is it on there yet?

Can anybody provide any pictures of a bow, tripod and spotter attached to the back of a Highcamp 7000? Curious to see how it all fits together, to give an idea of where I'd have room for a med UL pouch or two.

Thanks,
Whisky

card is charged right away.

go to the highcamp pictures on the site and click on the meat shelf

if your planning on abusing your grab-it I'd get the regular 1000 cordura. Will hold up better no questions about it.

so for the highcamp pics. There are no side pockets for the tripod or spotter so what type of configuration are you thinking for your gear to fit on there? Spotter pocket is coming from kifaru i hear but not sure when.

Thanks guys!!

I saw pics Aron posted way back of his spotter on one side and tripod on the other. I don't require a pocket for my spotter... Below his spotter was a med pouch I believe, so that covers that. I think a Grab it with strap kit would take care of the bow. Initial impressions make it look like there isn't enough compression straps options to both strap a bow to the back without a Grab it, and nicely compress the bag at the same time.....But, I've been wrong before.

The Grab It would be a nice option for many things though, too.

Thanks

I think a group intervention would be more suitable. Seems like this stuff is more addicting than crack!

What BigFeet Stated:

Does the expanded meat shelf kit fit the Timberline bags?
I saw on Aron's video how the shelf can be attached both on the bottom and further up on the Highcamp bag. I am leaning toward the Timberline bag with the bikini frame and hope that meat shelf works the same on that bag.

Anyone know? Im curious about that also? If so is there a need for the cargo panel or is the cargo panel the bomb for packing out huge loads. Aaron didnt seem to excited about that feature in the video

That new behind the bag meat kit CAN NOT be used on the Timberline bags. Who knows if that will change down the road?

Maybe I misunderstood Aron. I thought he told me it would. I am sure when he gets out on Monday he will clear it up.

Aron answered that question somewhere in the 800 and something post under new frame and bag.... if your inquiring mind needs to know before Monday. At least I think I remember him saying it would not work with your old timberline duplex bag.

If I remember correctly it will work on both but, on the timberline it will only work on the very bottom of the pack....
