I went with highlander frame and pack and even with the penalty it is still way lighter than my blue widow

I actually am trying to get in changed back to black. I didn't realize I paid an extra 40.00 for the camo. I was already on the fence about the weight increase...hopefully Monday isn't too late.

too late?? u do realize these babies are out about 4 months right? haha

I got on my son about "pre-ordering" a video game and waiting for months to get it. He heard me talking to someone about the pack and he quickly informed me I did the same thing. I guess the saying is correct. "The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys"

I got a little scared haha. Aron talked me off the ledge. I just hope it comes in time for Spring Bear! (Wishful thinking that I'm going to draw)

Sad...they changed my ship date to April 24th (From March 25th). I was hoping to get some training with the pack before spring bear.

any chance of ordering an extra common loop inside so one can be used for hanging bladder or meatbag and the other for a small pullout with possibles?

While Kifaru may not offer the Highcamp directly with more common loops inside, you could always sew one on yourself with very little effort.

Just as soon as we start to recieve the new packs we've ordered there will be a bunch of fresh pics. As far as I know only Aron and Patrick have any real time with the new bikini frame. Matt will have one soon for testing so he will have some soon but the rest of us are waiting for our own personal Christmas's. A screenshot of my work order is my screensaver until then.

1. Will the 7000 inch cubic bag compress down small enough for a carryon for airlines?
2. Will the 7000 compress down small enough to make a perfect daypack of around 2200? kinda silly but it don't hurt to ask.

I would like to see additional users on here with the pack in use please.

I'm the only person that has used one. Give it a couple more weeks and they'll start shipping.

Several people have met me at Kifaru to try them out and have ordered after. Some have already commented.

Do you want me to answer, or are you wanting others to comment when they get them?

#1 You're only limitation would be with the pack frame length.
Delta, for example, is 22" x 14" x 9".
Alaska Airlines 10" H x 17" W x 24" L
Frame stays of 24-26" are past that. I know for a fact that Delta loves their baggage fees.
#2 You can make anything a day pack, just cinch down the straps.
