I've followed Kifaru since back in the day when you had to write a letter and request a hard copy 3 page "catalog". Took me many many years to get the money for one of Patrick's famous USA, Hand Made packs. Fast forward to the Aron Aara, and packs osmotically spawned weekly.

I have a schit ton of frames and bags and stuff.

Can someone tell me what a few of the 3500-4500 INTERNAL frame packs have been? Searching for an Internal pack for more general back packing and bumming around without the need or weight of a dedicated frame and bag combo. No meat hauling needed.

I have a pair of 14'rs. Was pretty turned on then turned off by the Tarryall. Looks like the only current pack in these specs is a Kutthroat?

What am I missing in the middle?

Gen 2 spike camp
Siwash
Late season.

Can't remember the capacity of them or whether the siwash and late season were internal frames.
I know the spike camp is because I have one. And no, it's not for sale.

If you don't need it for meat hauling, does this mean you also don't really need a bag for heavy loads? If not, I'd consider other MFG's for a lighter pack. I have 3 Kifaru packs and the one I use the most by far is the Stryker.

No meat. No heavy. Think I would consider other brandy but not Chinesium stuff. I do like the cordura materials and overall outdoor design of the Kifaru packs.

357 mag is your bag, freaking love mine, literally zero things Id change, and I use it just like you're intending.

It's my go-to day/scouting pack, and for overnighters when I won't be hauling dead animals
