Is that the Bitterroot? I can't even remember really what it looks like it's been so long since I've been down in that neck of the woods, something like 27 or so years ago.

In Canada! Cranbrook along 93 is a cool little town. Watching some World Series and having a brew! Good food at the Heid Out. Tomorrow is Kootenay, Banff and Jasper Nat Parks. Right now the weather forecast is looking pretty good.

Great thread! I'm completely envious of your trip and your move up to Alaska. There's NO way I'll ever be able to convince my wife to move up but it sure is a dream of mine. I've been through most of the country you've been through in the US but not much of what you'll travel through in Canada so looking forward to more pics. Thanks for sharing!

We prayed for good weather and we got it! The drive through Banff and Jasper is one of the best I have ever done. The request for pictures was heard loud and clear......

The Icefield Parkway was completely clear and snow free. We ended up seeing lots of big horn sheep along the drive. The temps ranges from mid 30s to 50 degs. Tonight we stay in the town of Jasper and tomorrow we end our day in Dawson Creek. Then it's onto the Alcan Highway. Many thanks for the well wishes. The Pics will continue!
