When you're in the field it happens once a day or so, sometimes more.

That's a lot. I've never had mine spin on me in all the conditions you mention. The o ring is a great way to make the turret stiffen, but I swapped mine to be hip and cautious

I gotcha, mostly because of hitting brush or rubbing against a tree? It looks like they do great on the drop test and getting banged around in a vehicle, but the turret gets moved easily which is annoying if you are walking in to hunt and pull up on an animal. I believe that’s what you’re saying right? I’ll just order some of these o-rings just in case

The O-ring addresses my only real complaint w the scope. The other “issue” for me is eye relief. I need a little bit longer LOP even when scope is mounted as far forward as possible on a Tikka. It’s not really an issue, just changes stock setup slightly.
