When you get time please show me something tangible. I’ll look for the same when I do. I’m busy working on a BLM lease at the moment. Extracting and processing minerals.

Perhaps, but no necessarily but is a good reason to keep them public...and why many companies are supportive of federal lands staying federal.Guarantee those leases would cost way more if on private.
So WY is pretty much funded by CA when you think about itLess than a 1/3. Top 10
How long does permitting take on private vs federal land? When you get time please show me something tangible. I’ll look for the same when I do. I’m busy working on a BLM lease at the moment. Extracting and processing minerals.
Until the fertilizer hits the ventilator then the feds bail you out...which I have no problem with. We help each other when it's needed.Colorado is one the few that are net positive for the federal government, they provide more than they receive. 1 of 8 states.
Depends on the state...do some research. There are federal and state requirements on permitting. How long does permitting take on private vs federal land?
On avg I’ve been told oil producers get permits within a few weeks on private, same ones take up to 3-4 months on federal with way more red tape.Depends on the state...do some research. There are federal and state requirements on permitting.
Right and one of the main reasons Industry and tax base is so good is because people want to live, work, and play in states that have lots of public land...that Colorado has a lot of.Colorado is one the few that are net positive for the federal government, they provide more than they receive. 1 of 8 states.
I am all for it. I think public needs to be public. I have a problem with a 90/10 split after the PP campaign WY runs and the dependence on federal aid.Right and one of the main reasons Industry and tax base is so good is because people want to live, work, and play in states that have lots of public land...that Colorado has a lot of.
Another great reason to keep public lands in public hands.
Hardly seems prohibitive in any way.On avg I’ve been told oil producers get permits within a few weeks on private, same ones take up to 3-4 months on federal with way more red tape.
Personal problem and a total lack of understanding in how land and wildlife resources are managed independently of one another. I can't force you to understand...and until you do it's going to be a struggle for you.I am all for it. I think public needs to be public. I don’t have a personal problem. The attack you just posted highlights your frustration and is pretty classless. I will leave this thread now.Personal problem and a total lack of understanding in how land and wildlife resources are managed independently of one another. Just realize your lack of understanding isn't going to change the outcome of how any state manages it's wildlife resources.
What attack? Pointing out facts seem to frustrate you.I don’t have a personal problem. The attack you just posted highlights your frustration and is pretty classless. I will leave this thread now.
I guess for some it's a one way street...
I'm smart enough to live in a state with good resident opportunities...and understand the law regarding same. Most of what you post is entertaining, in a "Dumb and Dumber" sort of way, but this little gem is one your best ever.
Nope. A lot of landowners don’t have mineral rights and do not get royalties, only rent. Others are paid less, some more. It depends on how bad they want the lease vs how bad the oil company does. With the feds it’s not negotiable.Guarantee those leases would cost way more if on private.
And you are ok doing it all while others fund the state, it would be one thing if WY actually could cover the majority of it’s needs alone.I'm smart enough to live in a state with good resident opportunities...and understand the law regarding same.
Also smart enough to be thankful for nr opportunities I'm afforded in states I'm not a resident of...and not tell them what I think I'm owed.
Best to just say thank you to them and move on...some savvy that, some seem more inclined to shoot themselves in the foot.
Not a huge difference. A matter of weeks to a few months. Considering some wells produce for up to and occasionally more than 100 years it’s negligible. I had a well in Grass Creek that was drilled in 1912 and was still producing in 2012. Now I work in minerals, this plant was built in the early 1950’s and will still be paying into federal coffers 100 years from now. Unless we find a better way to make glass, detergent, livestock feed, baking soda, caustic soda (lye/sodium hydroxide) and some pharmaceuticals just to name some off the top of my head. We have about 100 years worth of trona yet to be mined. How long does permitting take on private vs federal land?
Kansas residents receive nearly 3 times as much as Wyoming residents receive in federal funding. And you are ok doing it all while others fund the state, it would be one thing if WY actually could cover the majority of it’s needs alone.
