Just after I bought it a few months ago. 2012 3.5 eco, crew cab with long bed. Love the truck but just had to put a new hub, 4wd actuator, and cv axle on it the other day already. :/
I'd I were to choose i'd go 3.5 eco but 5.0 close behind then 2.7 behind that.

I have a 2011 f150 with the 5.0, it has been nothing but a headache for me. Had to rebuild basically the whole front end, had a rear drivers side leaf spring break, had a bearing go out in the rear diff, and a starter go out all before 100k miles. This will surely be the last ford I buy...

Just bought this last year. So far the best purchase for my adventures yet. Found the matching topper for super cheap on Craig’s list and I’m in love with this setup. Great for getting the family camping and great for when when I go hunting. Has the 5.0 which so far I’m happy with. Hopefully I don’t have any of the issues I’ve just read about......

610.jpegmy hunting/ daily driver gets 27 mpg out on the highway. I use all the extra money I'm saving on gas to buy more tags. I to used to have a bubba truck to hunt out of then I grew up. For those towing stock trailers and such I'm not referring to you guys.

I would say you have a long way to go before you "grow up".

My "bubba" 2012 nissan frontier disguised as a Suzuki Equator gets about 19mpg on the highway, and does what I need it to. Probably cost me a lot less up front than many Rachel Maddow rigs out there.
