Killed a Bighorn Sheep solo at 13k. Fitness programs available no charge

Man this is hilarious….
Bro, just get gone… You’re obviously superior to everyone here and not going to fit in

Cat Man - you want to come in hot, share nothing but proclamation of how awesome your are to demonstrate people need to listen to you, and then you’d like a bunch of people you’ve never met to fluff you by asking for advice based upon a couple sentences and a photo (cool ram, no doubt)?

I can’t tell if you’re just trying to stir things up or serious. I gather you are serious based upon your diligent defense. If you want to share - great, have at it - not sure who the audience is after your self-detonation.

Start with the hunt story and maybe touch on what you’ve found works well for prep. Or don’t, we’re all good here either way, since you’re just “here to buy gear?” So not to share?

Thankfully there’s cat memes.

@TommyTheCat5150 what's your PR on the ego stroke?

How am I a fitness authority? Was trying to help other sheep hunters in the gym. Seemed harmless. When they climb the 13er do they also pack out 120lbs and all thier gear you clown? Sit the **** down.

See the title of this thread and…. You gonna make me sit down?

And you packed a whole 120 lbs off a mountain? Wow. Nobody here on Rokslide has done that before and we’re so impressed.

Some great points here.

Having worked in the outdoor industry previously for close to 10 years and doing some guiding here and there, I have always found it very interesting coming across the egotistical/arrogant people that held themselves in such high regard because of their hunting achievements.

I personally really enjoy pulling off a grind of a solo hunt, especially with a bow. I think it is a great personal achievement, but it is also something that has been done for as long as people have been hunting. To say I am better than the next guy because of it, is pretty absurd in my opinion. Humility is just something that some people don't possess, but it is never too late to work on!

Maybe Ryan and Robbie can open a Hunting Psychology sub forum where we can dive deeper into these types of topics!
It smell like bitch in here!

Who here likes fitness?
I used to, but at almost 60 about the only "fitness" I get every year is hunting season. I must do OK the rest of the year though because hunting doesn't really slow me down. I'm sure glad I got my archery bull moose and ram a couple years ago, now if I could just get a goat tag. In the meantime, elk hunting will have to keep me in shape.

Hi, Tommy. I am interesting in improving myself and would appreciate you sharing your fitness program. It's January, so plenty of time for me to review the information and give it a try. I'm planning an elk hunt for September and am always open to trying something different.

Thanks!
@TommyTheCat5150 - I am still interested and would appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Feel free to send me a PM if you’d like.

Thanks!
