As stated, I trained for a summer to successfully kill a bighorn solo at 13K in Colorado. Can help understand good training choices over bad ones.
Solid knowledge of nutrition and mobility as well.

I train endurance and ultra-endurance mountain sports athletes for a living.
Recreational, amateur and world class professionals.
I've been specializing in this for over 15yrs.

I can say for certain that none of what have accomplished or tout above means you know how to safely, effectively and efficiently train other people.
Good Journey!

Cool story bro.
Jealous?

Good for you. I don't really care to be honest. I fought MMA for a decade with tremendous coaches and spent hundreds of hours with top level trainers. Im trying to be positive on this forum with a post(offered free) and met with haters within an hour. I hunted my bighorn for 16 days in a row. Carried 38lbs daily and climbed to 13500ft daily. No injuries, no twisted ankles, no knee pain no shoulder pain. Yall are haters and you know it. Im a new guy to the forums and just learned that there are plenty of bottom feeders here just like on the mountain.

Dude, congrats on the RAM but you came in way strong as a new guy here.

Perhaps a couple other post introducing yourself and a truly good recap of your sheep hunt to get the ball rolling.

And PLEASE, post a better pic of the Ram. Most of us only dream of hunting such an animal and would never think of showing it in such a manner as yours.

More importantly, what caliber did you shoot it with?

Any programs for how to improve strength to increase what calibers i am capable of shooting?

I've been stuck shooting .223 for a few years and I'm just not strong enough to shoot any Magnum calibers. It's starting to destroy my confidence and affect my sex life at home.

Ill throw some gasoline on this garbage fire...

Ive also never hunted sheep before
Had 5 pref pts only
Just picked the unit randomly as well

Congrats, though, seriously. It’s an awesome accomplishment. Big question is how old were you?!
