I just got an uncontrollable itch to climb a hill and chase an elk after seeing these. Think I'll fling a few arrows to try and sooth the itch.

Scouting Northern Nevada for Mule Deer in 2012 we came across these guys.

My daughter had a rare free weekend so we headed up to scout a new drainage.










25 legal bulls was a nice sign. I'm obviously not much of a digiscoper!

I call this Saddle Watch, directly in front of me are 4 converging game trails. Only visited by a couple playful foxes but a real nice place to sit, take in some shade and recoup from the hike in. I am surrounded by scat. Thanks Thermacel.

These birds are so dumb, it's a wonder they're not extinct. My dog flushed 6 of them yesterday, Hopefully I can bag an elk early so I can take my dog out for some archery grouse hunting.
