I had the pleasure of "scouting" the western Ogilvia Mountains (Yukon Territory) today. Wasn't scouting for animals exactly (so these aren't entries), but I might have seen some rams, and a few decent moose...








Also saw countless miles of untapped pack-raft rivers draining the mountains.




Is it cheating if I use one of these?




Absolutely stunning country. I could move to Dawson just for the pleasure of having those mountains in my backyard. Unfortunately, the pictures taken through the bubble of a fast moving ship in no way do justice to what I was seeing, but I have filed the memories away in my mental "favorite places" folder.
