No one is more zealous than a convert. However, I don’t purchase as confidently as I did. I do read and I do see the reviews.
But I also don’t use eld-m bullets.
And you don’t use eld-m bullets…. Yet.

No deflection. I’ll call the tikka and leupold haters part of the cult.“Deflection is a tactic where someone avoids criticism or blame by shifting the focus or responsibility onto something or someone else.”
I did use eld-x this year and the internal damage was impressive. No one is more zealous than a convert.

What does this have anything to do with Mark 5s and VX series losing zero on a simple truck ride to a shooting day spot? (Just happened to my buddies mark 5 a few weeks ago).I'd take a good shooter and a "good" scope versus a nervous Nellie with a perfect scope any day of the week. However, no disagreement that drop tests are showing a difference between manufacturers.
My eyes are starting to fail me. 6x is what I want, but those damn alders and willow thickets give me pause.Give me a reliable fixed power Leupold scope with a good MIL hunting reticle and I’m in.
Sadly all we’ll keep getting is PRS garbage.
Shoot and kill with what works. Folks opinions and feelings don’t matter when you’re stacking big game animals while they just talk.I’ve caught a shit load of shit for using lighter recoil and smaller calibers for hunting. I used to be the 30 cal only for big game.
This shift was due to the 223 thread.
Fixed 8x50 for me.My eyes are starting to fail me. 6x is what I want, but those damn alders and willow thickets give me pause.
I didn’t know there was a x50 option. I like the lightweight option. My 22 has a fx4. The kids all have a 2-7 on theirs.Fixed 8x50 for me.
There isn’t one. I just need oneI didn’t know there was a x50 option. I like the lightweight option. My 22 has a fx4. The kids all have a 2-7 on theirs.
I appreciate the point, how much did it lose zero? Did it shift a half inch one way or the other, did it shift a foot one way or the other? What does this have anything to do with Mark 5s and VX series losing zero on a simple truck ride to a shooting day spot? Zero. They don’t track zero.
.6 MIL low and .4 MIL right at 100. He kept missing during high wind practice and is not one who misses often.I appreciate the point, how much did it lose zero? Did it shift a half inch one way or the other, did it shift a foot one way or the other?
It’s his current PRS gun, known good gun and mounts. It was the scope, as Leupolds do often when actually used.Everything else is good, rifle bedding, scope mounts and rings, so that it is isolated to the scope and only the scope, yes?
Nah! Don't tell me someone cherry picked a definition to not include common uses of the word "cult"I’m using it correctly. Embrace your charismatic role. Don’t fight it. Embrace it. I’m not a convert yet, though I do pause before I buy scopes now. I run to the Bible….i mean scope drop threads…before I buy now.

You are seriously about to lose all credibility. The second definition is for sure what I’m talking about. I used it correctly.I copied the very first definition that popped up in the search-

Which is the use that he intended regardless.
“Cult”, like “racism”, “misogynist”, etc. are overused words for when a fact based, legitimate argument can’t be made. Instead of taking a drive by cop out with an overused term- people could actually form a coherent and logical position to have a discussion.
SameMight be some of that going on but I was having issues with mine before knowing they even had issues or joining Rokslide.
Had the same thing happen last fall with vx6. Confirmed zero before driving to Idaho with 20 rounds. Got to camp after a long highway drive. Gun was in the back seat in padded hard case. Shot to confirm and was off 6” high 2” right. What does this have anything to do with Mark 5s and VX series losing zero on a simple truck ride to a shooting day spot? "Fixing" or FTFY (short for "fixed that for you") someone's post to something funny/funnier/sarcastic has been a popular thing on forums for at least 2 decades. It's just a funny way of conveying a response. Lighten up. Also, I fixed your post for you. It's hilarious when people change quotes and say "fixed it". How "Rokslide" that has become. Come up with your own words. In case it needs clarifying, it's generally accepted that 35Whelen might be the definition of "butt hurt".
