Hmm, this is the 3rd post I’ve saw about this & the other two disappeared.
We'll see. Might get a motivated prosecutor who is a hunter or wildlife sympathizer and if they have him dead to rights on the evidence they could run the gambit on him and make an example for any future poachers who think they can come to Idaho and steal resources. If that's the case I hope they do. If he pleads out and gets a slap on the wrist then I'd imagine he'll be ran out of Idaho and Montana anyway. Time will tell. The 9/22 date was likely his initial appearance where he must enter a plea. Nothing will happen anytime soon and I’d be shocked if the case ever makes it to a courtroom.

I'm guessing he was referring to how other higher profile cases have gone - actual hearings get pushed and typically plea deals get signed rather than the cases making it to trial. See: Bowmars, Muley Freak ID trespassing, Karl Studer, etc.Explain plz

Hopefully but won't happen. Poaching influencers always seem to get preferential treatment by the courts. What's even worse is in a year or two most will have forgotten and he will once again exploit our wildlife for profit. In some cases their bottom line isn't even affected, just look at all the companies that still sell that muley freak junk. We'll see. At least for fish & domestic dogs PIT tags (microchips) are installed under the skin not in it.I was wondering if the evidence could be one of the wolves had a microchip in it the same way they do a dog. I don’t know if that’s actually possibly but if it is then that’s an easy way to have hard evidence on the dude lying. Does anyone know if they do something like this?
