Why would anyone need to submit their fitbit data or seat belt status? Are thousands of people that didn’t wear seatbelts filling up hospital beds? If so it didn’t make the news.
You spend a little too much time watching/believing “news”

I had it last year. We took the opposite of the isolation approach. Figured we just as well all get it and be done with it. Was prior to vaccines being available.

I was the only one that had it. Wife and four boys never got it. Made zero effort to prevent transmission. My be wife got tested every other day during my quarantine for her work. All negative.

This was the approach the Amish took and it appeared to work for them, but have to wonder how the stains are affecting them. 2020 was financially their best year ever.

Your choice? Fine. When you go to hospital for Covid and didn’t get the shot you should be at the back of the line for treatment. If your in ICU and someone needs a bed, cancer or heart attack, you need move out and wait.
Fine, as long as the same rules apply to people who smoke, drug addicts, overweight, have terrible diets (skinny fat), alcoholics, etc.
Oh I I don’t have to give up my bed to anyone if their cancer is due to life choices or their heart condition is due to being a fat slob!

FOIA request
Which FOIA request Vandy, by whom? Can you share with the rest of us?

But then it changed to "we do not have that data." Then it took someone else doing the legwork to find the FOIA request in question and find out that it was not as you described "nobody has been proven to be reinfected" or even "we don't have that data" but "we don't have the data on an extremely specific set of criteria involving vaccination status, reinfection, and outcome." Then when several people showed you peer-reviewed data about cases of confirmed reinfection, you started to deflect and dissemble. The tests can have false positives so it's theoretically possible (although statistically approaching impossible, I haven't run a model yet) for each case of a reinfected person to actually just have false positives each time, which to you means the studies are wrong. The CDC can't be trusted, so those studies must be fake. Everyone else blindly follows the CDC and Fauci, so the evidence doesn't matter.

Why do we have to offer incentives to egt people vaccinated? Because people spread lies about vaccine efficacy, say it's the mark of the beast, say it'll make your kids sterile, doesn't work, has tracking chips, COVID is just a flu, take ivermectin/hydroxychloroquine instead nevermind the follow-on studies, big pharma big government yadda yadda.

A lie travels around the world before the truth has its breakfast. Then when there's an effort to counter misinformation, the grifters can cry about being oppressed and silenced.

:ROFLMAO: Ha! The Facking news! So much BS in the news from any direction you choose to look from, is anything reliable anymore?
I expect this was a rhetorical question, but fwiw - I've been listening to the Breaking Points podcast. The guy is sorta conservative and the gal is sort of liberal, but each one ends up saying something I agree with, and just as importantly, something I don't. They take shots at almost all politicians, MSM and Big Pharma, but they have also (in the same episode) complimented narrow aspects of politicians on both sides. I lean conservative but I'm sick of Fox, as I've decided that it (and some others) are not any better than CNN and MSNBC, they just tell their audiences what they want to hear from a culture war standpoint. No news.

Prove that it works and prove that it's effective, and safe, well, that's a lie too. Or dont, i really dont care becasue I'm pefrectly fine taking my chances with a 99.8% survival rate...yes, the same survival rate of the flu. If that bothers you, I really couldn't care less.

Yep, you gotta use your head to be able to sort through all the lies and BS, and follow the line of logic. Once that breaks down and it makes no sense, then you disregard pretty much everything they say and try to sell to the American people. The problem is........most people aren't very good at all that. So they just take it all in as truth. It's a safe bet these days that just about everything the media is putting out is garbage. Assume that until proven otherwise. And that's their problem.......they're having a really hard time proving otherwise.

Prove that it works and prove that it's effective, and safe, well, that's a lie too. First it was 96% effective, now it's "the vaccine can't stop the spread but it will make your case less severe". The vaccine so effective it needed a booster inside of a year.

You enjoy your mask and your vax and your booster this holiday season, I'll enjoy my freedom to choose, this is still America, isn't it?

You can feed me all the cooked up data, fudged numbers and newly adopted definitions you like, at the end of the day, our opinion on covid, nor your feelings on vaccination status matter not to me.
Prove the data is cooked. You can show that right? You're not just once again saying it and hoping people believe you without evidence right?

This is America. You're allowed to be wrong, but you should be held to account by the others here when you make up garbage.

You want proof the data is cooked, look no further than the death toll.

Anybody and everybody who died WITH covid was counted as a Covid death. Every single one, whether covid was the cause or not. Dude in Florida crashed his motorcycle, yep, "covid death". Dude died of heart failure but also had Covid yep Covid death. How many actually died FROM covid, we'll never know because the numbers were cooked to push the narrative. I imagine you'll argue about that too.

Bye now, have more important things to do, like go enjoy a maskless, vaccineless dinner with a family full of healthy, freedom living Americans, because that's my right.

Absolutely right there. I'm so tired of people (lots of them friends) that don't think for themselves and are parrots for the narrative. I quit talking to them because there is no discussion, it's an echo chamber for the talking points of their chosen party or news source. I have a total of two people I can discuss anything from any angle rationally. Two, that's it. It didn't used to be this way. We used to be able to discuss things like if Reaganomics worked or didn't work and even if we didn't sway minds at least we discussed it and were still friends. They are succeeding in dividing people.
By now, have more important things to do, like go enjoy a maskless, vaccineless dinner with a family full of healthy, freedom living Americans.
Lots of my more center rational Dem friends have recently chosen this path. They too are tired of the BS and have accepted that this thing is endemic and are choosing to move on with life. Doesn't mean they won't stop making choices (and neither will I) in an attempt to keep from getting sick. Who wants to be sick? I mean any kind of sick let alone Covid.
