I get the thought behind seeking alternative energy sources. What I don’t get is that the singular focal point always ends up involving the demonization of it’s use relative to transportation. Almost everything we touch on a daily basis is derived from petrochemicals, and I don’t think that is going away. We missed the boat and should’ve been building a substantial and robust natural gas infrastructure. It’s clean enough to flare and waste rather than harness as cheap energy??? Missed that boat in my opinion. Anyone seen the lithium mines??? But a pipeline is a no go…. SMH. Not to mention, where will all of these batteries go when they are no longer useful? Recycle or landfills? Lots of things look good on paper….
