Assuming $5/gallon, its gonna cost me $400 to get to WY and back in October. Split with my hunting partner and still only $200 each. Small price to pay for the experience.

That’s how incrementalism works. You keep accepting the shit they serve you and then they just serve you more.

Don’t forget about the rest of the inflation.

They have much more to serve.

I completely agree with you, but taking my daughter out on her first elk hunt before she goes to college next year is worth the sacrifice to me in this case.

Was 4.59 a few days ago but I am sure it went up.

I wonder what folks will think when the liberals pick up house/senate seats in November or whenever the courts decide the contested results?

The liberal ideal is too build a utopia from the ashes...a place where they never loose power.

6.19 is cheap now. There's a station in Mendocino (CA) that is around 9.50. Supposedly the highest in the nation. Wife and I are going in a couple weeks and I plan to buy 1.00 worth just to say I got gas at the most expensive station in the US.

Yellowstone region is absolutely packed with people. Gas prices don’t seem to be affecting peoples summer travel plans.

That’s because people have gotten so used to government handouts they aren’t worried about how much credit card debt they have, I’ve seen enough comments from folks on this site saying they will borrow money before giving up an elk season to realize that most people aren’t going to choose to make any sacrifices to live debt free
