Right handed, Left eye dominant, Left side uncoordinated AF. Shoot right handed with left eye closed.

Would be pretty cool to shoot with both eyes open though.

Similar to this. Right handed but left eye dominant. I shoot rifles right handed with closed left eye and same with shotgun usually. I did start practicing shotgun left handed as an adult and keep both eyes open when doing that.

I shoot Sporting Clays with both hands now. I shoot report or slower pairs left handed and both eyes open. I shoot true pair and fast ones right handed with left eye closed. I can hit distance and following pairs well with left eye but my reaction time is way faster right handed since that’s what I did most of life.

I do shoot pistol right handed but with left eye. Sometimes one eye and sometimes both eyes. Depends on pistol and sight picture.

Right handed, haven't learned to shoot left, uncoordinated. Left eye dominant because of a problem with right eye, I can see out of it, the left is just better. Also, my long vision is for crap, I can read a computer/book just fine.

I shoot with both eyes open. How did I fix left eye dominant, I learned to just barely close the left eye, it's enough to allow the right eye to take over, but I can still see a little out of it. Shotgun, rifle iron sights, rifle with a hubble scope or smaller scope on AR. Now I practice a lot, dry fire with caps, live fire, almost every type of gun I have, didn't say every gun, at least once a month, sometimes twice. I dry fire these guns at least once every week, concealed carry, everyday, at least a few snap caps pulled. I bought a snap cap for my concealed carry that has a laser to show me. I haven't seen one, I wanted to afford, that would give me wing shooting for my shotgun. I know some say you don't need snap caps, me I'll go my way, you go yours.

I was taught both eyes open as a child, I still do it that way 56/57 years later. FYI, I have snap caps for every caliber rifle and handgun I consistently like to shoot.

I don't do archery. I probably should pick one up just for strength training.

Right handed, left eye dominant (rifle, pistol, bow). I didn't really realize that until I had LASIK back in 2006, and the doc told me I was Left eye dominant. 🤷 I had been taught from a young age to shoot right eyed and it just seemed natural. For pistol and bow I usually have to squint my left eye to "force" my right to take over. But it's so ingrained I don't really notice it. Shooting a bow both eyes open I struggle with and am continuing working on it, but I often revert back to shooting one eye (that's compound and traditional). Shotgun is both open, which is probably why I miss a lot. 😂

I'm left handed but right eye dominate, I shoot archery and pistols with both eyes, rifle with a scope left eye closed, otherwise I can't focus.

Use to shoot everything with 1 eye, but trained for archery for both eyes open for my field of view, same with a handgun.

right handed, left eye dominant and shoot right handed.

Shotgun, handgun, red dots, closer range with rifle scopes / lower power - both eyes open.

Long range rifle and higher magnification - both eyes open to help spot target, but shoot with left eye closed

I suck at archery……..

Historically, I've shot right handed, right eye dominant, with both eyes open. In the last year I've noticed that my left eye has started to over power my right. I'm still shooting right handed, but closing my left eye.

I'm right handed and right eye dominate, and having shoto competitive Trap and Skeet for many years, I've trained myself to shoot everything (pistol, rifle, shotgun, and archery) with both eyes open.

I shoot a rifle with dominant eye open, bow with both eyes open, shotgun with both eyes open, and handgun it depends.

Found out in the last couple weeks I’m cross eye dominant, right handed but left eye dominant. Have always shot right handed and now understand why I could never figure out shooting with both eyes open. Been trying to get more proficient with my pistol and it has been a real struggle

Left-handed and right eye dominant...I shoot my bows, rifles, and shotguns right-handed with one eye closed.

I shoot recurves and longbows with both eyes open. Handguns, both eyes open up to about 25 yds then one closed. Shotguns, both open, rifles one eye closed (unless its equipped with some type of holographic sight).
