Height and weight

6'2" 195 lb

I've been everywhere between 185 and 215. Getting back to 185 would be killer, feel like flying uphill when you're light like that. Should I spend $85 to shave 23g on a Ti bolt handle or lose 10 lb of fat? How bout both?

Was 5'11 220 this past year, and that was way to big. Down to 208 now, fighting to get to 200 or less for this year

6’2” and 223lbs last year. Was perfect for day hunting but anything overnight or packing out I’d want to be down to at least 205 and put a little muscle back on my arms back

6 feet and 168 to 170 pounds is when I feel the best. My body wants to be at 175 pounds. I'm 54, and I find it is harder and harder to get down to that 170 mark. Pisses me off. I will get there again once mountain biking starts up again.

I'm 5'9'' and I'm gonna try to get down to 175 before September.. currently 188. I've been as heavy as 215 when I drank a lot.. I grew up playing sports and lifting weights. But now that I'm getting older I want to lean out and try to regain lost core strength.

I'd pay more attention to what metabolic conditions bring you closer to muscle and movement efficiency. For me: 6' and 190-lbs with 11% body fat and nutritionally fit. In my late 20s I averaged 206-210 lbs.(23% body fat) My 30s averaged 201-206 lbs (20% body fat), and now late 40s i've learned to manage my body type to maximum efficiency. The older you get the lower that body fat % should be getting for longevity and movement efficiency.

I reckon Larry is on to it. Height and weight stats (BMI) don’t give you a full or great picture of your conditioning.

Body composition, body and visceral fat levels all come into play. At 56, 5’10”, 175lb and 16% fat.

Next comes aerobic/ cardio fitness.

6'2" and 245lbs last year, was way too much for my hunt. Couldn't keep up and realized I'd let myself go. Did great at 210lbs.

5’11” and 195 right now. 34” waist 48” chest is my body comp. At 50, it gets tougher to keep the frig and pantry out of reach. I’ll be down around 185 by September. Gotta love the grind getting in elk shape

Never been hiking in the Rockies for elk or big game but dropped down from 268 lbs to 169 lbs over the last 18 months so I'm finally planning a trip this upcoming season. I'm 5'-6", anything I should be aware of?
