For those that have broke through heavy bone (humerus or knuckle near humerus) please provide:
rough arrow speed
Arrow weight
broadhead type
rough weight of the deer (estimate).

I’m gathering some data...thought this would be helpful to others

280ish fps
415 gr arrow
Qad Exodus
800 lb bull elk
Arrow went through 1 lung and the guts and broke the hip bone on the other side

I wouldn’t consider the shoulder blade a heavy bone but the humerus is.

I’ve only hit it once. It takes a serious angle for it to happen.
510 grain arrow
290fps
Muzzy trocar
140 pound whitetail buck

No idea speed
125 gr VPA three blade solid.

Frontal shot cow elk. Entered neck broke femur on opposite side. Tip just poking out of skin in rear of back leg.

Mature bull elk, hit humerus and broke it mid shaft. Passed through. Came out arm pit on opposite side. Was above him for shot.

Black Eagle Carnivore arrow
150gr Grizzly single bevel
100gr insert
TAW ~585gr
No idea how fast it’s going, maybe 280s

Killed a 160lb buck. Quartering to, accidentally hit it far back. Got lung/liver, arrow busted the femur clean in half on the way out.

A little unhappy with the way the head held up but couldn’t have gotten the same results with a lighter setup.

767 TAW
30.5 @ 70lbs
Vandieman 225 single bevel with 200 Ethics insert

120lb doe

Went through both scapulas at 13 yards and into the dirt.

Victory Rip TKO
iron will sleeves
Iron will s125
Total weight 550gr

Pass through on 3 Black bear and 4 Blacktail
Last year it went straight through a 360lb Black Bear. Year prior it hit both ribs and the Radius(forearm) and still stuck in the dirt. I figure if I have poor placement than this setup gives me good insurance. Been great so far. All shots under 30.

Easton hexx 330 arrow with 100 grain slick trick magnum broadhead weighing roughly 400 grains traveling 283 fps. Misjudged a whitetail last year and ended up spining it, arrow blew threw the spine and was sticking out the other side.
