125 gr VanDieman
100gr insert
29" Goldtip Hunter XT 300
540 gr total

Blew through the base of the scapula on my bear and out the far side. I will be shooting these for my moose tag in 12 days as well.

I am currently building some Black Eagle Rampages for the future and my setup will likely be this:
200 gr GrizzlyStik Samurai
51 gr SS halfout
29" Blackeagle Rampage 250s
~600gr total arrow weight

Update on moose tag - 540 gr black eagle rampage 250s with 125 gr vandieman out of 60 lb bow. Blew through top of the humorous and imbedded in far side shoulder. No edge chatter on either side of the broadhead.

Good luck to everyone else!

What was your arrow speed roughly? Thanks for sharing!

367 grains
Thunderhead 100
180 lbs whitetail buck

Have shot through the offside leg bone on several bucks this size. I’ve also shot high shoulder and spine shots from treestands with full penetration.

I’ve also had pass throughs on several hogs in the 150-200 lbs range with this setup.

I haven't sent it through a chrono but based on an arrow speed calculator its in the ballpark of 225-230 fps. Not fast but the arrows have been bare shaft tuned and have a strong helical fletch and fly perfect out of my bow. I am currently running a trophy ridge hotwire site which suits my needs perfectly. First 2 pins set at 20 and 30 and the 3rd pin adjusts between 40-60 yards.

That good penetration for a 3 blade head and a light arrow. Is 367 grains your total weight with the broadhead?

Can you show which part of the leg you hit?

Victory Rip TKO
iron will sleeves
Iron will s125
Total weight 550gr

Pass through on 3 Black bear and 4 Blacktail
Last year it went straight through a 360lb Black Bear. Year prior it hit both ribs and the Radius(forearm) and still stuck in the dirt. I figure if I have poor placement than this setup gives me good insurance. Been great so far. All shots under 30.
How do you like the RIP TKO's? I am interested in playing around with them a bit too. They lower GPI than equivalent BE Rampages. My bow seems to really like ~550gr. I was thinking about building similar arrows to yours because it bumps up the FOC significantly at the same total arrow weight.

5mm Easton Axis 340
iron will v100
10 grain Titanium collar over arrow
70 pound Matthews Helim , draws 71lb 29.5 draw. 284 FPS. 440 gr total weight.

Big bodied 6pt Elk, spine broadside. Elk was angled above me at 21 yards. My single pin slider was at 30 not 20...... Things that happen with elk going in and out in rut chaos.
Was perfect shot Just behind shoulder but about 8/9 inches high. I got really lucky.
Arrow went through spine completely breaking through both sides of the vertebrae.

I dont keep good records but my results have been consistent for almost 40 years. Lots of deer and pigs.
125 grain broadheads, mostly Muzzys, Thunderheads, and Slick Tricks.
Arrows have changed thru the years. Aluminum, skinny carbons with outserts, ICS carbons, now Axis carbons.
Until recently I never weighed and arrow or calculated FOC. The goal was good arrow flight and arrow weight was whatever it ended up being. My present setup 29” 340 Axis, 125 gr point with aluminum 1/2 outsert, 3 x 4” feathers, 6” wrap is 450 grains.
Speed is 270 ish. at 60 pounds.
Deer weights have been from 60 pound yearlings to 200+ pound bucks, hog weights about the same.
Penetration has never been an issue. Broken shoulder blades, leg bones, vertebrae.
