Fun fact - The HBK 2255 is a great meter, but only records at 64 kHz, which makes MIL-STD-1474D impossible...considering it needs 196 kHz. We will have access to a BETA software for the HBK 2255 that will meter at 200+ kHz. This will provide the most accurate ear and muzzle numbers possible. Though, results will vary on a day to day basis. The atmospheric conditions make it challenging to get the same numbers. We have tested in snow, warm days, cold days, wind days. The data is not drastically different, but it's certainly different. That's why it's important to find a range of LZ peaks by testing over and over again. Only a small percentage of the data PEW releases, but muzzle and ear numbers are certainly two very important aspects. Excited to release more videos showing you guys metering of our suppressors with no fluff or BS.
