Grouse .22 pistol

Balance and shootability don't matter to ounce counters...... These point and hold better than the lites. And have real barrel, not a steel drinking straw with some aluminum around it.

You’re on rokslide - all of a sudden ounces don’t matter?

This is the place for “balance and shootability”? With no measurements to justify that priority?

We’re talking about shooting grouse <50
yards.. at least I am, are you not? And the MkIV Lite is just not good enough for you to accomplish this?

We are backcountry hunters, no?

Weight doesn’t matter all of a sudden?

If it ended up being ~20oz and not ~30oz but less accurate at 80 yards… How somehow is that a negative?

Help me understand why adding 10oz of weight really benefits our goals? We’re discussing an ultralight small game pistol…

I'm looking to pick up a Ruger and 22 can, maybe add a red dot this year for grouse. How are you all carrying them in the field?

I carry my grouse pistol in a Muddy River outside the waistband holster secured to the main webbing strap on the left side of my packs waist belt.

Does the hole in the bottom have clearance for a suppressor?
