Grouse .22 pistol

I have a mkiii I want to get a chopped upper for and then I have a sig p226 22lr with threaded barrel.
I have an MKIII too, and rather than putting money into a shorter barrel, I figured I’d just get a MKIV with a shorter barrel. I think the added functionality for easy disassembly, reassembly and maintenance is worth upgrading to the newer model.

This forum is not healthy for my bank account… the revival of this thread reminded me I still have a .22 can that needs a home, and I am dedicated caller this elk season… so might as well have a grouse gun on my hip… Should have it in a week to try out. 3” barrel so should shoot most everything subsonic and be a little more compact. I’ll see what accurate yardage I can get out of it for grouse. Was surprised it’s actually 4oz heavier than the Lite. I think because it’s actually just a chopped version of the steel target barrel.

We’ll see if I wish I just went with the regular 4.5” barrel Lite. Didn’t see the weight difference when I purchased.
