What grips?Big fan of the Ruger Mk series. My MkIII has more kills on it than anything else I own. It’s hell on ground squirrels and raccoons under night vision.

you won't..... once you dump the rail and get it set up and dialed in. I've shot prairie dogs past 80 yards. We’ll see if I wish I just went with the regular 4.5” barrel Lite.
Good to hear. What holster are you using?you won't..... once you dump the rail and get it set up and dialed in. I've shot prairie dogs past 80 yards.

507C or better yet 507 Comp. The comp carries great on these guns. Love the extra large window too.Does anyone have a recommendation between the Halosun 507c vs the 507k on a Ruger Mark IV lite. Will be carrying or in the pack for grouse hunting. I like the slimness of the K but want it still useable for hunting, and wondering if I should go with the bigger view.
This forum is not healthy for my bank account… the revival of this thread reminded me I still have a .22 can that needs a home, and I am dedicated caller this elk season… so might as well have a grouse gun on my hip… Should have it in a week to try out. 3” barrel so should shoot most everything subsonic and be a little more compact. I’ll see what accurate yardage I can get out of it for grouse. Was surprised it’s actually 4oz heavier than the Lite. I think because it’s actually just a chopped version of the steel target barrel.
We’ll see if I wish I just went with the regular 4.5” barrel Lite. Didn’t see the weight difference when I purchased.
