Garage storage pics/ ideas

I really like this vidmar tool chest for gun shop and bow shop with the cabinets and such. What ideas do you guys have for those buying those new seems $$$$
You must have forgot to attach an image.

I really enjoy the Vidmar Cabinets and Lista Benches and 2-doored cabinet that I have in my shop. I bought my Lista bench (Black/Grey) new in about 2005. All of my other cabinets have been purchased through Craigslist. but you have to react quickly if the price is good. Rent a small trailer at Home Depot and go pick it up. The blue cabinets in the photos below are Stanley Vidmar.

I am fortunate to have space for a pole barn. The added boiler for radiant heating is very nice. It will take me a while to fill these shelves... 30' long, 42" deep, and 16' high.

Proper sized shelves with totes. I find I like a mix of full size and half size totes. The half sizes just are less digging for smaller tuff. I like Rubbermaid brute totes but they are expensive and most seem to opt for the cheaper black and yellow ones. My shelving is not custom sized so not as efficient as a DIY shelving project. Life would have been better organized if
I had went with totes 40 years ago. I still have a Rubbermaid roughneck tote
I bought in the late 80s early 90s. They were indestructible. Not sure if the roughnecks are less durable these days. But my Brutes are very very durable. Pretty much what I would call a commercial grade.

For the first time in my life I’ve actually got extra room to have things spread out and organized. I love simplicity and no clutter. Each tote is activity specific and labeled.

I’m not 100% done yet. I still have to add tool hangers and get the wood pellet stove plumbed in. I’m planning to add some thick rubber mats to stand on in front of the bench.

I got tired of filling my shop with all my outdoor gear so I bought a one trip 40' highwall conex and lined both sides with tough rack shelving. Now I can fit all of my gear in there (for now) and leave my shop open for other work.

I’m envious! That’s a great setup.

Thank you, I feel very blessed to finally have space. Feels so nice to have everything exactly in its place and never have to rummage through totes in search of anything
I bet! That’s been my dream since, well, forever. I’m getting closer. I don’t have a shop but we do have a very large garage. We just need to get rid of some stuff we don’t use and modify our organization system.

I like this idea. Get a cheap mini split off Amazon and have it fairly conditioned would be ideal.
