Multiple time offender and I bet he still gets off. Why?
He had permission to hunt the private land. He can’t be charged with trespassing even though he wasn’t supposed to be where he was because he had permission and it’s on the landowner to prove he told him it was only for certain areas.
How selfish can Erik be! Imagine the situation he put the camera man in who got him the permission from his own family.
I hope I’m wrong and they throw the book at him!

Crispi boots posted a video of the accused on Instagram that lasted about 7 minutes before they deleted it. Gone pretty quick once the negative comments started rolling.

Anyone know what other companies back this fool?

Camofire used to have their t-shirts on there fairly regular but I haven’t seen them in some time. Not sure if they dropped them or what. Hard saying with a deal like camofire.

Sportsman’s, Blackovis, Camofire are who carries the bino harness (just googled it). As for His “sponsors” I’m sure watching the first two minutes of one of his videos would show.
Off hand I know Leupold and TS customs rifles.

Pretty big list of companies that follow his social channels. Maybe just unfollowing him would be a good first step for them?

If it turns out his video he made about his daughter doing the recording...can you imagine when she gets older and comes across that online and finds out he used her to try to fabricate a story...i would never use one of my children like that...

Will be interesting to see the case unfold. His attorney(s) no doubt now (or very, very soon) have all the State's discovery (and possibly in this case vice versa). It's likely that the State will offer up a plea agreement of some sort prior to the trial.

Plea agreements used to peeve me as a game warden, but after awhile I got it. Going to court is a ton of work for a prosecutor. Knowing that they are going to be going to court on some cases regardless, if they can reduce the workload a little here and there- they're going to. Eventually, as long as I got some input on the plea agreement and where the line shouldn't be crossed, I came to accept it as a regular part of doing business.

If the defendant on the other hand decides to roll the dice and go to trial, all bets are off and you can bet they are going to do their best to pound a nail or two in the proverbial coffin.
