But to be honest. I know a few guys driving truck that love them. Say they are pretty easy to trash though. Run a bit on dry pavement an such doesnt do them any favors. Might make sense on your town rig or something your are running the hiway with.

I wouldnt buy anything but real chains though

thanks. I wouldn’t be asking all of this if chains would fit up front.

for someone like me who comes out here every couple years in the winter the sock looked like an option. fits. cheaper. and reviews seemed good. just wanted a rokslide thumbs up

While there is no doubt that chains up front work better.. I'd say there are for more rigs out there running with iron on the rears only.

Isn't it more about the tire size than the truck? I'm confused. I'm sure an auto parts store or tire dealer could hook you up.

Wheel size, tire size and IFS vrs solid axle. Really you just need to look at your junk and see what you have room for. Keep in mind suspension moves things up an down and things get taller as they spin...

Sure. Some more stuff to consider. It looks like Raptors have some room to work with in the wheel wells.
What difference does the axle make?
Good point. They're easy to come by where I live, but maybe not so in more mild climates.
