The XT uses 1000 denier material vs the summit uses 500 denier with 1000 denier harness. This makes the XT a little more robust if hunting heavy brush.Does anyone have any experience comparing the Summit vs the Summit XT? I'm trying to see if there's anything I'm missing to justify the extra price increase.
Perfect thank you! Probably not worth it then. Nothing here really that tall where it would be running the vestThe XT uses 1000 denier material vs the summit uses 500 denier with 1000 denier harness. This makes the XT a little more robust if hunting heavy brush.
I have a WW. One of my huntin' buddies has a Final Rise. He had issues trying to purchase a WW and began looking elsewhere. He loves the vest due to the lighter weight and the options of molle attachments. It is holding up just fine after 2 seasons.
I saw the writing on the wall with Wings Works and ordered a spare vest years ago--will probably be good for the next 20 years. I have inspected final rise extensively--I think wings works are built tougher but for folks with no vest and needing one I'm sure they fit the bill for the avg upland hunter
I can't answer on the Final Rise water bottle holders but I put some Marsupial water bottle holders on my Pyke vest and haven't had any problems. My most used vest is still my Wingworks but for quick trips the Pyke is lighter and works well now that I have a better way to carry a water bottle on it.How are the water bottles attached? I have a pyke vest and like it besides the snaps always come undone on the water bottles and I've ripped them off the waist band 3 or 4 times now. Im in the south hunting alot of woodcock so thick tight woods.
This is on a Wingworks, assuming the Final Rise is similar. Sewed webbing going around the waist belt and strap from the shell pockets. How are the water bottles attached?
