Fat Guy Weekly Weigh In.

Started at 268 august last year.
Turned 50 in February
224 today. Personal records this week on deadlift and squat.
So far so good. 2020 sheep hunt getting closer everyday.

Down to 220.7 this AM. Slowly burning the garbage off of me. Beginning to feel really good now. Can only imagine how it will be when I drop the next 30 lbs. these first 29 came off in the last 60 days. Never thought I could do it. I think its best to not expect too much from here on out and be happy with 1-2 lbs per week.

Keep up the good work to everyone who is pushing on. Let’s post some hunt pics when we persevere this fall.

10 pm this evening pre workout weigh in was 198#. Strength in free weight training is still going up. That is the lowest I have been this century. I have a feeling the next 10# is going to come off before September 1. 190# should put me @ 10% body fat.

Weighted 250

I'm very muscular so alot of my weight is muscle but do have a thicker layer of blubber than what I wanted to admit to myself. Got some news from my work yearly physical that my A1C is now @ the low end of being a diabetic. I refuse to let this be. So my diet, which has always been my enemy, is changing. I am back in the gym and am determined to not only drop weight but get my numbers corrected. I've got 3 months of work ahead before my next doc visit and a month after that will be time to hunt. No better time then now. Already keeping track of my weight each day I am at the gym and am down to 245.6 already. Good start but a long ways to go.

Well it's been 2 weeks and this morning I'm down to 241.5. Hopefully I can keep this amount of loss up. I'd love to get back down into the 220s but I know the lower I get the slower I'll drop it. Still keeping carbs in the mix just trying to keep em low. My body has seemed to adjust and has liked the higher fats. Just being comfortable with being hungry. Also doing intermittent fasting. I'll fast till noon each day and eat up until 8-9pm.

Up to 196.4 from 190.9 a couple weeks ago. Been battling injuries in my right leg, putting a huge halt to my miles. On top of that, my disappointment in not being able to run has caused me to say eff it and eat like crap. My own damn fault.

Trying to get my mobility back and doing yoga, stretching, and foam rolling to try and loosen/strengthen my IT band (current injury). Seems to be helping, just gotta stick with it. Once it feels better I'm going to start doing pack hike's to add some variation to my cardio.

5/13 217.3👎
5/20 214.7

6/3 213.7

It’s something I guess. I’m sure I was lower at some point because I had a great week...until the weekend and a 2 day bbq/camping/family reunion. I tried like hell but fell to temptation.

Hey fellow fat guys and not-so-fat guys! I fell off the wagon so to speak. I have not been disciplined in my eating for the past two weeks, so I am now up 5 lbs to 228.

I spent some tine in the mountains over the holiday weekend and it felt great to not be carrying an extra 20 lbs on my waist! So, I’m in it to finish. 20 more pounds to go!

This last week has been better than the week before I am down to 221, losing almost 3 lbs last week. the week before was ruff with memorial day. I went to the family cabin and there were way to many sweets. But I refocused this week and have lost it all back and then some.

still at 241. Gonna up my cardio the next few days hoping I can drop into the 230s. Once that happens I'll see how if i can keep it coming off or if I'm stalling. If I stall, then I'll do a refeed for one meal and really jack the carbs up then get right back to things.

Ate clean but exercised very little...but didn't have a drop to drink all week for the first time in probably a good 13 years or so. And it shows!

I haven't weighed myself lately. I'm scared of what the scale will read. That said, I'm down a notch on my belt, By Sunday AM, I'll have run ~17 miles this week, including some hills. On pace, I think. Now that the weather is nicer, I'll start shooting the ol' hoyt a bit a more and step out the yardage. But fishing is fun too! WY elk is just a few months away.

@Ariettabob The silver lake wilderness may not be SW CO, but it's still a tough walk in November. All this prep will pay off for that as well.

Got busy as heck now that it stopped raining for more than 12 hours. Was afraid to weigh in but did anyway, 201 this morning. Started at 228 or 229 back near St Patrick's day.

Did draw high country tag so really need to get back at it.
