ELDX bullets

I've been using Hornady bullets for years, but switching to ELDX, and seem to be getting a lot of copper fouling with them. Wondering if anyone else may be running into the same issues. It seems to just be with my 338 7mm and 300. Haven't had problems with 06 or creedmore.

I'm shooting them in several guns. Haven't noticed them copper fouling any worse than my bergers. Did you clean barrel before starting to shoot them? Maybe the previous bullet jacket fouling is making it stick more than it would to bare metal and it's own fouling.

I’ve had great success with eld in several calibers. Use them in my 30-06AI for hunting and they shoot so well I’ve taken them to a match in my 6.5 creed. I also believe they use the same copper jacket as the eld match which I have shot thousands of without fouling issues going 200-300 rounds between cleaning.

What are you using to clean and check for fowling?
