Yes ,every day. Up at 3AM and have a cup of coffee then run a couple miles then breakfast at 430. 3 eggs,1/3 lb homemade pan sausage and a cup of uncooked oats with a scoop of protein powder in it. That will last till 9AM. I have a big block metabolism ,I get terrible gas mileage.

I do the banana and oatmeal thing. Coffee too. After 60 could not eat breakfast (normal eggs bicuits gravy etc) anymore seems to give me the trots right after eating. I can eat later in the day but not early like the old days.

I have a fast metabolism, even with a late dinner I wake up starving with my stomach growling. Eat oatmeal, banana, mixed nuts, and a protein shake on the way to work at 6-7am. By 10am my stomach is growling again and I eat 6 raw eggs.

I used to not eat break fast. Just wake up drink coffee and carry on. Maybe a snack at 10 am.

Last 2 years I have been prioritizing getting some sort of food and protein for breakfast. Not alot just enough.

My stomach feels better, I feel better, I don't bonk, I have energy, I sleep better etc. Overall just 100% better all around.

My mother was German and my paternal grandmother was a good southern girl from Selma, AL.
She could make a biscuit that would melt in your mouth.

We have been drinking the same protein shake with small tweaks for probably 7 years now, and I still look forward to it every morning.

~380 calories
~ 40g protein
~9g fiber
<2g saturated fat
Minimal added sugar

Great way to start the day in terms of getting ahead of the curve on protein and fiber intake, and it tastes like a chocolate shake.

4 fried eggs + healthy-ish carb source (cereal, oatmeal, bagel).

32 years old but my metabolism is just about the same as it was in college. If I didn’t eat anything, I’d probably pass out before lunchtime.

Would be great to get away with skipping breakfast someday. I’d save at least 30 minutes of my day.

Probably depends on what type of job you have. I can skip breakfast no problem. I get up at 4:30-5:00 sip on a monster and hit the gym. At my office job around 7:30 and don’t start feeling hungry until 11:00ish. If I wasn’t sitting at a desk all day it would be harder to not eat.

Spin off of the egg thread... On the normal routine day (weekdays for those of us with a Monday-Friday job) do you eat breakfast?

I love breakfast foods, but don't typically eat breakfast. Make coffee and get on with my day. My first food is lunch.
I saw this egg crisis coming when I was a wee lad, and in preparation, I decided to not eat breakfast, so no

If my wife and I have Sunday off together, we usually go to breakfast together, besides that, I never eat breakfast. I do enjoy those Sunday mornings, but I have never ate breakfast with any regularity

I typically don't eat breakfast on weekdays, dinner (lunch) is my first meal usually. Weekends I typically cook bacon and eggs or Basque chorizo and eggs for myself and make a Dutch oven worth of sourdough biscuits. Will do sausage gravy too. Deer meat and eggs or steak and eggs occasionally too.

I only eat breakfast on the weekends because my kids like it when we make a breakfast scramble… other than that I work to much to eat breakfast during the week.

During the week - No. I'm trying to do some intermittent fasting to loose some weight. I usually just have water and an occasional diet soda through the morning - I don't each lunch until 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon. I might cheat and have a handful of cashews I keep at my desk if I'm feeling a bit hungry. I have a normal dinner, but try not to eat anything after 8:00.
On the weekend the gloves come off. Both days I make a big breakfast - bacon, eggs, hash, sometimes pancakes...etc. I love me a big traditional breakfast, but I can't do it every day.

We started years ago eating breakfast for supper. Elk steak, eggs, hash browns and pancakes. It's easy cook it all on the Blackstone at one time. No dirty pans.
