Can you describe why this matters in practical terms?
I believe he’s thinking there will be a yield issue because of the small contact patch between the round cross bolt and recoil lug face of the rail.

Apparently you missed the detail in my post. Feel free to read it again.
It is better to push against a flat bar with another flat bar to maximize contact area. I do not want a round bar indentation on the vertical surface of one of my picatinny slots.
Other companies have addressed this issue in their product design, as it is a very elementary engineering concept.
You seriously created an account on here to complain that Area 419 makes a substandard product and is hiding things from their customers simply because they use round crossbolt screws clearly seen in the online photos?
So if they are garbage which clearly superior rings did you decided to go with instead?

Ignoramus-level input is not helpful. I suggest the savage forums for you.Its makes zero phucks to 99.999% of people, but this one guy!
Or maybe that is a good place for you to head.Ignoramus-level input is not helpful. I suggest the savage forums for you.![]()
I think he's trying to self justify his ignorance by seeking supportive opinions. Dude ordered something he thought was gonna be great. Found one thing in the engineering/design he didn't like(which affects function/performance none).Did you even bother to use the actual rings?
I have these and their hunt rings on guns from 6 creed to 300 wsm and have had zero issues over to many rounds to count at this point.
It’s one thing to use a product and have critiques after personal experience, it’s another to create a post that looks like some AI Facebook garbage post to bitch about something you’ve got no experience with.
I did. But they shouldn’t conceal that design flaw.Just return them and get something else.
Moderators ruin forums by running off those who provide input more than a standard deviation above the mean.Or maybe that is a good place for you to head.
il no tolerable attitude. And that applies to all.
