Disappointed with Area419 Match Rings

It is better to push against a flat bar with another flat bar to maximize contact area. I do not want a round bar indentation on the vertical surface of one of my picatinny slots.

Other companies have addressed this issue in their product design, as it is a very elementary engineering concept.

Apparently you missed the detail in my post. Feel free to read it again.

You know the two crossbolt screws in your picture sure look a lot like the blatantly visible screws in the picture from the Area419 website which is exactly what I said in my original post.

You seriously created an account on here to complain that Area 419 makes a substandard product and is hiding things from their customers simply because they use round crossbolt screws clearly seen in the online photos?

So if they are garbage which clearly superior rings did you decided to go with instead?

Unless you are barely tightening the base of the rings on your 4 pound .458 Lott with a Gen 2 Razor in the rings I highly doubt you could generate enough force to damage your rail in any meaningful way.

And you still didn’t answer my question, if you are so disgusted by these rings which ones are better?
