Whats the point of the 419 system over direct thread?
Much quicker on/off. Left hand thread to tighten it up. The hellfire muzzle adapter acts as a cover or sacrificial element to be damaged VS your muzzle threads. Simple easy way to throw a self timing brake into the system if you desire. If you have 3 different size muzzle threads, you don't need 3 different cans or direct thread caps, you just get 3 different thread hellfire muzzle mounts. It does add about 1/4" and 1.5oz to the system unfortunately.

1.5 oz isn't terrible. Sounds like it's lighter than the Xeno system then? I was thinking of adding the Xeno hub to all my cans and putting the brakes on all the rifles but looks like I'm in for 3-4 oz at least over DT.

This is something I’ve wondered myself too, don’t see the point of the added cost over DT. I have 3 main guns and only 2 cans at the moment and have no problem swapping them around when needed. The rifles that have been 1/2x28 get a $20 5/8x24 adapter loctited on and they’re ready for whichever can I choose to screw on. 🤷‍♂️

I added Diligent Defense ti direct thread adapters to my XC. $55 each, and I picked up one in 5/8 and 1/2.
Do you know the weight on these ti adapters? I don't see a weight spec on DD's website. The Dead Air 1/2 adapter is 1.84oz. I've been waiting for them to restock, but I'll go with one of these instead of they're lighter, cheaper, and still fit the Ti XC.

Biggest thing is should any damage occur to the mounting threads it’s on the adapter which is easily replaced vs your barrel. The other thing would be the tapers to help secure the cans. If had issues in the past with DT mounts coming loose, causes a 1 MOA drop in my POI and cost me points during one of the shooting classes I attended.

Gonna go mainly on my 22" 300 mag
Have a Sythe already and it works great on the 300 but the issues have me buying another can

What are people seeing for lowest prices on the ti xc? Lowest I've seen is $999
$999 is what I've seen. Local shop with a SS kiosk has them for $1050. I asked them to price match and sell for $999 and they declined. So I ordered one from SS and had it delivered to them for free, they had to do the transfer for free since they have the kiosk. It delayed things maybe 10 days tops.
