This is something I’ve wondered myself too, don’t see the point of the added cost over DT. I have 3 main guns and only 2 cans at the moment and have no problem swapping them around when needed. The rifles that have been 1/2x28 get a $20 5/8x24 adapter loctited on and they’re ready for whichever can I choose to screw on. 🤷‍♂️

I got 419 setup when I first got a suppressor because adapters were cheaper than tbac CBs for every gun. But now with 3 cans and more likely soon, I have no desire to buy hub adapters for every can when they already come with perfectly good direct threads that are lighter and shorter.

I used to have issues with the different thread directions too but that went away when I just started cranking things down real tight.

Are there any 15% off sales that regularly happen every year with any bigger vendors? That coupon code at Bauer was a nice discount but ended yesterday. I'm hoping I can find a discount on one late spring/early summer if I decide to go with the ti xc over UMs reflex suppressor.

It's been noted somewhere above the tone of the ti xc is great. Has anyone been able to compare it to the raptor an with reflex on?
Bauer has 10% site wide code "president" now.

Comparison against the Nomad TI for any interested... both direct threads. Both weights were when new. My Nomad Ti has gained .4 oz over a few hundred rounds.

Hyperion K is also still a really good 3d printed Ti option. Bit heavier and requires a sig taper with small shoulder barrels, but has been solid.

Curious your thoughts on suppression between the new and old.

I'm hoping to try out the new in a week or so... haven't shot it yet.

Edit to add: the guy at the shop said it's been his absolute favorite can, and he prefers it over the original nomad Ti and over the Scythe. They have had to send several Scythe's back and haven't sent any of the new Nomads back yet.
