CVA WARNING RECALL

Doesn’t sound good:

The Alleged Defect

Reports indicate that the CVA Paramount can violently fail — in some cases, the barrel ruptures with explosive force during a normal firing sequence. These failures are not the result of user error or improper loading. They are the result of a firearm that was not adequately tested, not properly designed and manufactured, or both.

I've shot mine a ton and it's super accurate even out to 600 so I'm contemplating keeping it....... but nothing ruins a hunt faster than an explosion next to your face.

To be fair that's the law firm who's filing against them so of course they're going to word it aggressively.

I get that, but isnt this the same series of muzzleloader that was found to have out of spec barrels and CVA was like "no way youre just not using the right bullets!" then they go and discontinue that caliber barrel?

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if there isn't a whole lot of truth in their wording.
