Oh right it's my fault you post bs to troll. Any time someone posts ambulance chasing crud, it's nothing more than instigating for a response. I feel I've been pretty good and laid back these days,. can't say much the same for you. Plus you are the one spreading gossip about quality control, so back up what you say, don't try to blame me for calling you out.

However......... you do have FB. Go over to the different Paramount FB pages and read about the QC issues. Anyone with FB can do that. They started right out with QC problems with the bolt face. That was the first issue almost everyone complained about. CVA replaced how many thousands of springs??????
I went from one thing to another, which CVA did correct for most. Most.
Their Bergara barrels, which in CF are decent barrels, were so inconsistent, they had to replace barrels and in some cases entire rifles. 45cal barrels that could measure anywhere from .450" to .455", even in the same barrel!!!! Choked barrels, where they could hardly start one of the powerbucket bullets, to when they finally got it started, it dropped the rest of the way through the barrel and out the breech.

Its all there, right there on FB. Its not me trolling anywhere. Even after a couple decades and being banned from sites, you still persist in believing you're the only person with any knowledge.

I'm just stating you have no clue what's going on in the real world, or you just won't admit it when it comes to anything CVA. This is absolutely nothing new, you defending CVA. Even with information positively available, you still deny anything bad/wrong, or indifferent that CVA may or may not have done.

Go ahead...... Blame it on BH209 or primers. CVA is the very FIRST manufacturer to lay all blame for their stopping production of a rifle, on propellant or primers. What other manufacturer has ever done that???

Even Diablo has seen the negative posts/comments about CVA's QC.

Now........... you don't have to believe squat and you won't when it comes to CVA. Others may be interested in what's really going on. They might really want to know.

So... instead of you getting another post shut down (that won't be a first) why not just refrain from responding?

Sounds like early model Investarm/Lyman barrels.

They were selling them like hot cakes until the cost of BH209 nearly doubled.

Proof is in the pudding, name your sources and lets hear what they have to say since they are working for CVA. Just to add to all who are piling on Blackhorn 209...

I have shot blackhorn since it was first released and haven't looked back.. I also have a Savage 10ML2 and in some ways feel that blackhorn lessened the gap between standard in-line muzzleloading and at least savage 10ML2 smokeless guns with regards to pure performance
But for the life of me can't figure out why shooters can spend 1900$ USD on a firearm and complain about the fact that Blackhorn cost so much / say they won't shoot it.. From my perspective the reasoning is simple.

#1 - The velocity is FAR superior to any other form of propellant (other than smokeless)
#2 - And likey most valuable .. Its CLEAN .. I clean my Encore / Omega / Pursuit once a year.. DONE

Saying that I do understand its crazy expensive currently, but so is everything else these days.
But you get what you pay for, if you like spit patching / cleaning your gun every 3-5 shots.. Then please carry on.. LOL

The changes in western muzzleloader regulations are the biggest threat to the existence of the paramount and ironically happening in part due to the paramount’s existence/success/marketing.

The availability of blackhorn 209 is a bigger issue than cost. I don’t love paying $80 for 8oz but a bottle lasts me a year or more. Muzzleloaders aren’t expensive to feed even at $5/shot because they are slow to shoot and heavy recoiling. It’s like TSS for turkeys, once you get setup you use a box or two per year.

I’m moderately interested in getting a paramount because I do muzzleloader hunt each year and I’ve done it in half a dozen states so having a limited irons only rifle and a no limits scoped setup both ready to go is appealing. That said I’ve had dead right there kills at 250 yards with a $220 TC Impact so I’m not there is much problem with a well tuned cheaper rifle that shoots well.

Cant find it anywhere. Drew a New Mex Muzzy Elk tag and had to re sight my gun with open sights and that ran me clean out of powder. Willing to overpay. Thanks

Keep looking online. MidSouth had Bh209 last week.

CVA had no choice but to use an excuse for poor QC.
I believe that you are exactly right. If you dig deep on the net, there's been some big QC issues with CVA and their muzzle loader barrels.... (everyone wants to say that they're "the same barrels that are on the Bergara rifles") which I don't think are being done to the same barrel manufacturing specs that are being run on the Bergara bolt action centerfires. Lots of issues with Paramounts out there. CVA does a spectacular job of crushing any negativity about their products.
