Except that's not what he's saying. It's that his politics have finally made it to where he can't even enjoy the music anymore.

To be fair, I wasn't taking it that serious. It must have just come across that way through text. Regarding his politics, I'd say it has more to do with how in the political spotlight he's become in more recent years with podcasts and such. Could be wrong. That's how I read situation.

Fair enough.

I'm somewhat of a Springsteen fan... And to me a lot of his music comes across real clearly as pretty left. Especially his older stuff, which is decidedly less popular.

I'm sure the modern podcast system has made it more clear and in depth. But I almost never listen to musicians on podcasts. Lol
