We've all been back and forth on the topic and I'm not trying to restart that, although I do suspect some of y'all are actually keeping count. 😅

But I had another thought. Kind of a dark one, but still... Has it occurred to anybody that attempting to enact this misguided policy to reintroduce wolves to CO has actually resulted in a non-trivial number of wolf deaths? I think they're over 50% now.

Honestly? To the extent one can feel bad for a wolf, I kind of do. I mean, they do what they've evolved to do, and even thought we don't appreciate it, they're really good at it. But suddenly instead of chasing fawns across a range that was their home, a batch are kidnapped and dropped off in the middle of a place they don't know and where they aren't wanted. If I was a wolf I'd be pissed.

"You're f-ing up my life because you need to hit some arbitrary quota that wait... wait... you decided this HOW...?"
