Sadly, some ignorant or arrogant so and so will interpret this rule as okay to drag a chuck wagon through or some other ridiculously broad object through.

As I read the ruling, private land owners can't install a fence closer than 4 feet from the corner legend. That should leave an opening of <8'.
Again, that is MY interpretation!!

Standard T-posts are 6 foot. High fences in south Texas use 8 foot or 10 foot T-posts.

I think the opening would be closer to 5’ 8” considering the 4’ from the corner
