Pretty gay to admit as an adult man....but that gave me chills. I had a guy who works for me/with me...stop into the bar. I was educating him on scoring and the behind the scenes details and nuggets of each wrestler. As Kasak walked out (To J. Penn State is something else. What other NCAA team is do dominant #2 just as well not even show up? On PSU's worst night, and Iowa's best it still wouldn't even be close.

Yes Carl gets good wrestlers but there is a lot more to it than that. No one has ever dominated like they do, including past Iowa teams.

Kind of cool as 2 guys on the Penn State squad went to the high school I attended in West Bend, WI, Cole and Connor Mirasola. Another from Hartland about 15 miles or so from my home town.

Yes Carl gets good wrestlers but there is a lot more to it than that. No one has ever dominated like they do, including past Iowa teams.

Cael signs the best, they STAY and buy into the Penn St culture. Finding the best high school wrestlers isn't difficult. For Cael it isn't hard to sign them unless they are scared of competition. Getting them to stay and improve is a challenge that he has mastered.

I'm not an Iowa fan but they used to have a very tough team persona on the mat. Go 100% even though a lot of it was just pushing and their delusional fans were screaming at the opponents for stalling. The Hawks have lost that. I think it's transfers rather than a roster that comes at 18 and stays. It looked like to me they just rolled over for Penn St and listening to Brands afterwards he agrees.

The next few years will be interesting. Looks like Iowa has decided to try to buy their way back in.

Bassett says "the internet rumors on the amount are laughable"....I don't know. The same/matching figures hit the net very quick and mostly match.

I can't blame him really.

But I kinda DON"T like where it's going.

I've been in tune with Barraclough transferring from Penn St to Utah Valley. He was in a shitty spot for years. I fully understand him leaving because he wants to compete. I don't see him being an NCAA Champ. But I do see him AA this year.

Those small schools trying to kick start programs and keep kids home...have no real chance with this NIL stuff. Unless they recruit a whole class of Grinders who are committed to staying home...and build them all In House.

Arnold holds it to a major at best. A tech wouldn't surprise me. Carter won't even be tested.

Agree. The words "load management" have drifted down from pro sports to college and it sucks.
The irony is now the college athletes are getting paid and dodge matches that might affect their seeding.
The injury default doesn't seem like the Penn State way but I don't follow them that closely.
The fight for second place in the heavyweight division at the NCAA's should be good.

Arnold isn't even the best at 184 on his own team but they want Angelo to have a chance at 4 championships. I wanted to see Angelo in a rematch with Starocci and a match with Keckeisen.

If Kerk does wrestle look out at Nationals. One thing about Carl and Penn State, they don't lose to the same guy twice very often.

Will be a big Bullshit flag if Kerk pulls out. Huge Penn State fan....but the interviews are getting old. Everyone is the same narrative. From Cael, to David, to Snyder....to Starocci and the new crop. Even Nickal. Spencer said it 100 times before the Ono match
