Sorry I forgot to post this so others can find it and contact me! I am happy to help anyone in the future FYI. I got a good ram for the unit. I looked over a lot of rams. I had ZERO interest in shooting one near houses and was very happy to find one no where near homes and very spooky. I found him in the evening without enough time to go after him that evening - not enough daylight. I was keeping an eye on him and 2 ewes and looking elsewhere. I could see them with my naked eye - 3 brownish blobs. About sunset I glanced over and the 3 brownish blobs turned into 1 and oranger. Panic set in. Got spotting scope on them it sheep were gone and a mountain lion was looking downhill at where they had been! AARRRGGGHHHH I did not relocate them that evening. That was a LONG night - this was the best ram I had seen in a week and the best I could hope for in this unit.
The next day in the same area I spotted 2 young lions - most likely one was form the night before. My friend was able to locate the sheep again 2-3 miles away. It took all day and laying 125 yards away miserably uncomfortable for 3 hours while they bedded out of sight 150 yards away. Finally got my shot. Score 168
