And by my count... 7/32 so far have hit their second shot to qualify for longer distance.
I participated in an Elk Dispersal program this year in Colorado. To qualify for the program you had to hit a 12" x 14" horizontal oval at 200 yards three times and then transition to 300 yard same size target and hit it three times all within 2 minutes in front of a crowd, first miss and you're out... No Pressure Right?!?! First 3 shots had to be off your knees or standing with any support you would carry in the field, second 3 could be prone. Of course I had to go first... Passed. Surprisingly out of the 30 or so that showed up that day, only 5 qualified. That really opened my eyes to the value of practice and this Challenge is no different. I am adopting a new mantra to make a cold bore impact before each practice session, when I'm done with CBC of course.
