So last week my wife and kiddo took our pop up camper out for the first time and I used it as a trial run for a few things for this hunting season. Last year I slept in my truck and drank canned cold coffee drinks every morning but this year I will be in a tent and thinking hot instant coffee. But the kicker is, I'm a softie and like creamer in my coffee...We tried some instant sticks and I found it to be ok and tried a powdered creamer I liked as well. However its in a big container so I need to either put it into a little sealable small container or make creamer sticks with my vacuum sealer.

How do you do it?

Put individual serving in a small plastic snak bag and then make small vacuum seal bags and seal each one up.

By the way I drink my coffee black.....with a little Bailey's once in awhile to lighten it up!

I'm tinkering with ideas at home right now and one I have had that may work: I plan to bring protein powder for days that we spend away from the road/vehicle, and it seems like vanilla protein powder, with artificial sweetener in it already, might make a passable coffee creamer.

Jetboil water, dump in instant coffee and a scoop of vanilla protein powder, stir it and drink it and let that be breakfast and coffee all in one.

The protein powder will curdle in the warm water and you won't be able to stir it out with a spoon. I think your best option for going this route would be to bring a smoothie shaker bottle with blender balls and drink your coffee out of that. I'd experiment at home first, though, to be sure.

I drink mine black, but I make my own cold breakfast flaxseed/granola cereal for backpacking/hunting excursions and use Nestle` Nido. It's a full cream powdered whole milk and tastes amazing. My bro started using it in his coffee and never went back to nasty powdered Coffee Mate (that stuff will kill you).
