Instant coffee sticks

I'll throw Alpine Start into the mix. I got a ton for free a while back and have been using them on all my trips for a few years now. Good instant coffee and good flavored options as well. Pricing is equivalent

I'll have to try that Alpine Start brand (never heard of it before this forum). I like the Starbucks Via more than their non-instant coffee.

Usually I just bring a small threaded Nalgene full of Nescafe instant, but it it's nice to see some other options, including the fillable teabag concept, here.

I started to just chomp on whole beans and wash them down with water.

I keep them in a vitamin container, but could use a small ziploc to be ultra light.

I am definitely a coffee snob, and I’m on the search for good instant coffee when on a hunt. Starbucks Via isn’t great. I know lots here like Mt Hagen.

There are some I’d like to try.

H&H Coffee Co out of Idaho has the bags that you steep in your cup

Blackout Coffee has instant I’d like to try

I’d also experiment with jars of instant coffee and could package in pill sized ziplocks

Let us know how the whole foods espresso sticks are. I am a Mt Hagen instant drinker in backcountry. I would not want to carry stinky trash of the teabag variety. I also like Tasters choice light roast fir about $1 for a box of 5 sticks. Very good nutty flavor

you can also add the four sigmatic packets to any instant coffee and it makes it taste significantly better (and adds ~80mg caffeine iirc). the other ones i like are IQJOE on amazon...the mocha and hazelnut are pretty good. not a big fan of the plain or vanilla. i think those are 200mg caffeine plus the lions mane and some other stuff that four sigmatic has.

Just when I think maybe I should try weaning off coffee for my fall hunts, yall have given me too many good options to make it easier than ever to take it with me. Looks like I don’t have to worry about the caffeine withdrawal symptoms, I’m staying on it. 👍🏼☕
