Can I buy a gun online say from whittakers and send it straight to my smith?

Second who has 1/8 twist 243 barrels in stock?? Shilen is the only one I can find with quick turnaround or off the shelf.

These any good?

Thanks.

Yes. Then when your smith sents it to you it goes to a FFL to transfer to you. Where as if you received the gun at a FFL I believe you are allowed to mail it to the smith and he can mail it back to you directly. Double check the latter, but I can 100% say yes you can send it right to the smith (presuming they have an FFL which I don't know that you could operate w/o one).

Yes you can buy a gun online and get it shipped directly to the gun smith. The FFL transfer will then happen once the smith sends it to your local FFL to pick up. Grizzly.com has Bartlein barrels in stock and bugholes.com has multiple manufacture barrels in stock.

Check our ER Shaw for your .243 barrel. They have 1:8" .243 barrels. Almost had them build me a 6.5-284. Have heard good things about them.
