Eagle Rare is outstanding, Whistlepig Small Batch Rye, Makers 101, Basil Hayden.

Most of the bourbons out there these days are pretty solid. Haven't really found one I just couldn't drink!

How’s that Eagle rare? Pretty rare and pretty salty in my neck of the woods. I’ve heard good things though.

Out of all the BT products I’ve tried, the Eagle rare surpasses most. My opinion is that is much better than blantons.. just my opinion.

I'd agree.

Blanton's may have paved the way for the modern bourbon movement... But it's not great.

Just polished off an Old Elk Cigar cut. Followed that up with an Old Pepper Old Fashioned. Ending with a Weller 12. Blanton’s is like getting a Grand Slam…it is the hunt that is the most fun…lots of better bourbons out there but getting all those damn horsies is the elixir!
